Thanks Mike

The Er doc got me fixed up on all of that and left the cath in. Not sure why the doc didn't give me anything more. I asked for it and the stories I have heard I was a hellcat in recovery. I am feeling better today just uncomfortable. She said the mass felt fatty and looked somewhat cystic so just waiting! Thanks for you reply.

Mellycat,

Geez! Sorry to hear about your troubles. Keeping fingers crossed that it is benign!

Your uro should give you both antispasmodics and antibiotics after the TURBT. If you haven't gotten them yet, please give a call to him and see if you can get them.

A lot of folks have the spasms afterward. That's normal but they can give you something to help.

Best of luck in your recovery and good luck on the pathology!!!

Just thinking of you today with your surgery. I had mine yesterday and even though all other tests showed this to be a cancerous tumor the removal showed it to look more like a cyst but of course we are waiting on pathology. This is just to prove that all the scans you have will not tell for sure until you remove it.

I did have several problems and ended up back at the ER and had to have a cath put in because I couldn't drain. Talk about pain. I would rather give birth again than go through those spasms. I was having spasms for 8 hours straight and couldn't even stand up straight. I also have already developed an infection as well.

Good luck to you and hope to hear good news from you as well. Will update you all on my results when I get them.
