Hi folks!
I am 2 weeks into the healing from my 2nd TURBT and I am concerned about a couple of things. I really don't know the difference between bladder spasms and the pain from voiding and the general pain of feeling like I have to pee all the time. I read through my surgery notes and it stated that during the 2nd surgery there was evidence of bladder inflammation still from the first procedure. Well I have tried to be judicious with the USTELL and pain meds and really haven't taken anything the past week for the pain. There hasn't been a let up at all and the pain is just as noticable, which is what my concern is. What is the difference in pain? How do I know if maybe I have an infection and it's not just simple healing pain? The last several days, I have noticed periodic light blood and some flaky type shedding in the urine. But I can't escape the unrelenting pain, especially when I pee. The more I try to eliminate every drop, the more it hurts. Should I assume that this is a spasm?
