Hi , Hope you feel better soon. After my first surgery ( they took out five tumors) I waited one day and then went skiing. ( no one told me not to , lol) I had surgery two weeks ago and told my dr I was going backpacking was that ok. He told me to wait a few days so I did. Then I went backpacking with a friend , we did about fifty miles. I was tired after this surgery but the more I hiked and sweated the better I felt. I think, I sweated all the drugs out of my system because with each mile I felt more with it. My bladder felt fine more than likely because my pack has straps that fasten across the front of me so I think they actually supported my guts better !
I sometimes wonder if the reason people have more trouble with their bladder after surgery is the skill level of the dr doing them. The more the dr does the less damage is done to the bladder. I go to John Hopkins. Rocky

The hospital did tell me some clotting was normal and I should call if I have any problems etc. I never been put to sleep before so I didn't know from experience what to expect. I didn't have anyone to babble to...probably a good thing, may have told something i didn't want know, haha!!

Adding my 2 cents worth. Hopefully your URO told you that is normal pass a clot from the area cut on anywhere from 10-17 days past per healing. I was warned and was still shocked wondering if there were more problems-which there weren't. As everyone else has mentioned anesthesia affects everyone differently but lethargy is common. It's wild stuff as my wife said I basically babbled for about 12 hours-funny stuff.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

K,

Glad you are not experiencing anything other than being tired. Hopefully, after the weekend of the 4th, you are feeling better. Doug has always been given the restriction to not lift more than a gallon of milk for a certain period of time after a TURB. He has had 6, and fortunately, the last one was over 2 years ago. Rest and recover. Hope you feel more normal soon!
