Right now, I hope for "clear tissue" and a "See me in 3 months" order from the Dr.

Good luck!

thank you dukel...I have done my DD on this disease, in particular, G3 bladder tumors. I have already made up my mind that if I do have a second tumor at any time, the decision for a neo-bladder has been made.

thanks for the advice.

Steve, Here's hoping that the treatment works. For me it was easy to look at and think of the treatments as an end all. Thinking they were going to take care of the problem. I really didn,t want to think of the next step if the treatment didn't work. For me they did not work and I was kind of rushed at the next step,(surgery). The bcg works for a lot of people. Just don't be afraid to look ahead and have a good plan in place. Study a little on who you would like to do the surgery, where the best place is to have the surgery, what surgery would work best for you. I hope you won't need a second plan! By the way, so far my surgery has been great. So just stay on top of this thing and you will be fine.

A BIG hello to all who've posted here and helped me get over my initial shock and fear! Thank you all.

Going back on June 6th for a 2nd TURBT to scrape any missed cells and to hoprfully make sure the initial staging was correct (I am confident and so is the surgeon) that it was.

Then I start the BCG/Interferon treatments approx. 2 weeks after for 6 weeks...to be followed by 5 more 3 week BCG/Interferon treatments over the next 24 months (seems this DR. is thorough/ head of urology at St. V's in Worcester, MA.)

Anyway, thanks again to all...i will keep you all updated to my progress and god bless you. Have a wonderful holiday weekend everyone...
