About the security code...we have had some instances of SPAM stuff appearing in our forum recently (do you mean you didn't rush to order Viagra from the posted listing?) and this assures that a real live person at least is sending the message.

I know exactly what you mean. I would have felt so much better going into my diagnosis and surgery had I found this site then instead of 8 months after the fact, too. I felt so alone since I was from a small town and knew no one who had had anything similar.

I am venturing a guess that the new security codes is to prevent spam and unwanted junk mail from getting through to the forums. Having to type in the code assures that it is a person and not some automated email robot broadcasting those annoying ads.

Good luck Monday! Fingers crossed for you...

Best wishes... Catherine

Thank you ladies!!! Like I said before, I wish I would have found this forum years ago. It would have saved me alot of stress, and I would have been better informed!! I will let everyone know how it went.

My first 6 mos checkup is in two weeks. For the last MONTH I keep thinking about it...then tell myself "don't think about it".
Don't know if I spend more time thinking about it or telling myself NOT to think about it!!

Meanwhile, wishing you the best for yours...

My blood pressure is always way high when I go for my checks but is on the low side normally. I guess we stress out bracing for bad news just in case. Best wishes for a clean report!
