Dear David:
At one point my urologist was considering taking a closer look at my ureters because of some abnormality of the orifice. He had wanted to a retrograde pyelogram, a test where x-rays are taken of the kidneys and ureters after putting a dye directly into the ureter. It can be done at the time of a cystoscopy. My urologist said it has to be done under anesthesia because it will cause spasms, I think of the ureters. I never ended up having the test, but you might ask about it.
