Warren...as I just advised on another topic...just get in the shower and SCREAM. I think you will find it therapeutic.

I'm so sorry to hear about your woes. Not being able to sleep, in and of itself, can be awfully debilitating, and certainly having a high fever can also knock the socks off you.

Hopefully when you get through all this you will at least be stricture-free and comfortable

Small TA Grade 1, May-06; recur (2 tiny), same, June-08; TURBTs both times. BCG begun July-08, dosage to 1/3rd May-10, completed treatment December-11. All clear since 2008.

I feel like total crap today - fever all night and up to 101.9ºF now, so much body aches I can't lie in bed, very little sleep, up every hour for painful trips to the loo, and still waiting to see if the urine culture will provide any useful information.

CIS 11/2010 treated with BCG. CIS 5/2012 treated with BCG/interferon
T1G3 1/2013. Radical Cystectomy 3/5/2013, No invasive cancer. CIS in right ureter.
Incontinent. AUS implant 2/2014. AUS explant 5/2014

That's not quite where UTIs are a pain :laugh:

As for my current status: Just as in the past, all my urological procedures are capped off by kidney stones.... and that's how I spent last night.

Fingers crossed for a swift recovery - infections are a real pain in the a*** aren't they? Says she who had a bad one last week but is much better now I'm on the correct antibiotics!
