Aspirin &Superficial Bladder Cancer

I may have mentioned this before but when I was receiving BCG treatments, I consulted with Dr. O'Donnell @ Iowa State. He said that studies have shown that taking aspirin after BCG helps with the effectiveness of the treatments.

Not debunking the abstract but, it was a very small group.

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

i think Dr. Gee at the U of Wisconsin came up with the aspirin and bladder cancer theory. I haven't seen any other studies on it.
Personally i cannot take baby aspirin ...causes major bruising for me.......but i also get a lot of natural blood thinners in my body......garlic, Vitamin E, Omega oils from Walnuts(which i eat about 8 a day..keeps my cholesterol down)
The jury is still out for me.

I am a firm believer in one 81 mg aspirin a day. I know several of the people who were in on the original studies of this many years ago, and it has held up in reseach studies over the years.

Now that it may help in bladder cancer is all to the good, in my opinion.
