Joe,

Similiar to Jack yesterday I got back my Path report taken April 8th on an interesting area according to my Urologist. It came back as negative for maignancy. This was only six weeks after my lastest TURB. (I've had two since December 9th 2008.)Thank goodness as I needed to exhale and start breathing again.

Hope you have the same results.

Al

Hi, Joe

I have that same white stuff removed twice after my last TURBT.
Both times the biopsy came back benign. Yours will too.
I know the anxiety you are having, but try to think positive.
The hardest thing about this darn disease is the waiting for path reports.
Keep us posted, I wish you all the best.:)

Sounds like great news, Joe - I am sure if they thought it was another tumor they would have been more concerned. I am sure you will be happy when the biopsy results are back (I know I always hold my breath - no matter how confident my Uro is)
I am happy this is over for you and your stomach can relax for a while. Will you have Maintenance BCG - when do you start?
I will keep my fingers and toes crossed until the results are back:)

Just came back from my Cysto at Hopkins. Initial impresssions is the bladder looks good as only one biopsy spot was taken as opposed to 6 last time. I still have what looks like calcium calcification over the original tumor site. the picture of the area that the surgeion gave me is white and granular in appearance. This also was present in may of last year and again in Jan this year when some of it was scrapped away for a biopsy.

I am hoping this is the same calcification that the BCG caused. The resident that was also at the cysto stated to the surgeon when he saw it he did not think it was a tumor, just how my bladder has been reacting. I am hoping they are correct. I also hope that if they thought it was a tumor since they see so many at Hopkins, they would have voiced that concern to me. But I guess we won't know until biopsy results next week. Another restless weekend.

Joe
