I originally went to Mid-Florida Urological Associates but has a bad experience and left. Just transferred to Urology Specialists of Winter Park DR Steinberg & Dr Cohen. They where recommended by my surgeon from Shands Hospital and served with my Oncologist at MD Anderson in Texas.

Nix ,yes you are right not that far from Orlando,but I have never been at west Florida, hopefully soon .
Alsimons, I was in Apopka many times, may I ask you which Urologists you go to in Orlando. my Do is Dr Arthur .
Suzanne, I remember they used that numbing gel and it worked for me ,it was 18 month ago.

And I'm in Apopka but work and go to the Urologists in Orlando.

I'm actually in the Seattle area. My Dad, who's going through treatments in the So. Ca. He just finished his 2nd BCG today - and other than a little tired is feeling good and is in really good spirits. He says they use this 'numbing' gel on the end - that isn't very numbing and he's wondering why they even use it or if there is something better - when they asked the nurse - she said 'yea, it's a little controversial....' what is THAT supposed to mean?? Anybody else experience this?
