Cysto question.

11 years 1 week ago #24558 by britt
When I saw the PA today, they decided to just do a regular cysto in the lab, rather than with me knocked out. Has anybody else had a problem with them getting the probe past the prostrate? Weeehen the hit the blockage on me I couldnt take any more and they had to withdraw the scope. The PA said that according to my records, they did give me a numbing gel first. i guess i dont remember. Since they can obviously get it thru(they did a TURB on me and also were albe to leave a catheter in me. Could this have opened up ant stricture I might have had. When she withdrew that huge irrigating cath, it didnt heart as much as I feared. There shouldnt be any difference between getting a cath in and the cystoscope should there?
