Susan,

Sorry to hear about your cat & Mom. Those extra bumps are no fun. Best advice I ever got (someone else said it first yeras ago) that "when things are going great they usually aren't as good as they appear and when things are terrible they usually aren't quite as bad as they appear." Here's hoping next year brings better things!

DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

Suz, as I remember, you came onto this board shortly after I did...and your procedures trail me by a couple months. At that time you were really frightened by all this, as we all were with our own initial cases. But it appears you have really moved forward in your acceptance of this BC demon and I congratulate you for working hard to get control of your own emotions. That is very important, so keep going, girl.....you'll get through this next round and be a better person for it. :cheer:

Hi, Susan

Sorry to hear the tumors have returned, but they were dedected early, which is really great news. I know what you are going through, I have had 3 TURBS and many BCG treatments. We all worry about this disease, but if caught early like yours and mine, it really is more of a pain in the butt, than life threathening.
I get my stength from my family and all the fine people on this site. It is realy great to have so many peers on here with big shoulders to lean on.
Stay positive, you will win the battle, just like I plan on doing.
Have a very Merry Christmas.

If you look at a few of my posts, you'll see I've done my share of whining. We all do. If we sound strong when we're supporting others on the forum, we actually get our strength from each other. It's a lot easier to look at and talk about somebody else's problem objectively and unemotionally than it is to deal with your own.

Thanks all. I know it is lucky to catch them early , just didn't want there to be any to catch
I am trying very hard to get my mind in the right place, so I won't stay kind of upset. probably will be better as it sinks in that i'm going to be ok .

Plus my cat is dying, and my mom died last month. Hasn't been a great year. :(

guess it is kind of natural to be upset . I wish I were as strong as you guys seem to be

Hi Susan,
You are not alone in finding out there is truth to the "continuing annoyance" of Bc. Take heart in the fact that you are going to be monitored, it is a pain but you can do it! You probably will be healthier in all other respects because you will become very aware of your health and nutrition. I was in shock when I heard I had more tumors, but soon realized I was really lucky to have been diagnosed at such an early stage. You will cope, best luck.
