RoseMary, Just looking at your photo here on the web, I always thought you were a blonde...well, maybe it's a strawberry blonde. : )

My husband's grandmother (Italian) started coloring her hair jet black when she got into her 50's and colored it until she died at 94...she also drank wine and smoke cigerettes every day...never had any cancer of any kind. ??? Melodie

sara anne......the jury is still out on the hair dye...some still say dark colors more of a concern than the blonds....other studies find no connection at all. I too am a redhead with grey at the sides which i'm continually touching up....maybe i should go blond? Pat

I too nixed soft drinks since dx'd 5 months ago. Was doing "diet" only to be "healthy" and while tests are inconclusive, I just decided to quit them all. Interesting on the dark berries & pomegranate juice. Googled cancer nutrition 5 months ago and both with leafy veggies were high in info & promise. Always liked veggies but, added blueberries every day and pomegranate juice (3/4 oz) a day since. Thanks for the info. Great read.
DX 5/6/2008 TAG3 papillary tumor .5 CM in size. 2 TURBS followed by 6 instillations of BCG weekly with a second round of 6 after a 6 week wait.

The last I read was that hair dye was safe - said Nix with blonde highlights on no gray

Patricia, exactly what is the info on hair dye?

Sara Anne...now gray, but a GORGEOUS red head for many years.
