Sorry I am posting this a little late. I had little reaction to the first couple of doses, then started to get hit a little harder - fever, bad bladder spasms, achy, etc. After I visited Dr. Lamm he recommended a fraction of a dose and have had better treatments. Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion on the protocol - my uro even recommended it to me.

BCG Maintenance after 6 week treatment
Guess I must be lucky. I had BCG #10 yesterday and when emptying out, didn't even have the burning sensations we usually get. This morning I woke up more refreshed than usual, with no symptoms whatsoever. So this seems to show each of us is diffferent.

Last BCG (#15) April 2009
I get very tired the next day - and once I had a slight fever. Other than urgency, the symptoms leave within two days. I know everyone reacts differently but I think it would be good to talk to your doctor and shoot off an email to Dr Lamm.
Sorry to hear you are having problems with the BCG. I did not have your symptoms but it sounds like an email to Dr. Lamm might be in order. Sounds like a lower dose with interferon may be in order (but I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV).
I am enduring my first maintenance BCG, and, as my uro warned, it ain't as simple the second time around! After the first maintenance, about 5 days later, I was absolutely wiped-out tired. Could hardly move. Last Wednesday I had the second and by Friday I was feeling "poorly" and by Saturday I was just plain sick...felt terrible. By Sunday I had diarrhea which came off and on until last night when it started being continuous. Along with a few chills, no fever, and just feeling lousy. Today's session has been postponed until next week.
My question to you: as anyone else had these symptoms? My uro seems to feel that they usually do not last as long, and that gastro-intestinal problems are usually not the issue.
