Good News

Marne,

I'm happy for the good report but can't make comment on the "reactive cells".
This is something new to me and I hope we get some feedback from someone who has some knowledge about this issue. We are constantly learning new things here about bladder cancer.

Congratulations on your good news.

That's great Marne. I'm glad that you do not have to do further treatment. May all your future cystos be just as good.

I just wanted to share some good news. I saw my doctor today for the biopsy results of what we thought was a recur after 6 mos. It turns out both spots were benign. He also took a sample of cells from the orginal spot. The pathology report said cells were reactive and should continue to be monitored. Has anyone had experience with reactive cells? (My original dx was Ta stage 0 low grade non invaasive.) The pathologist says these cells are currently not cancerous. My doctor says we just need to continue 3 month cystos. At this time he thinks any further treatment would be premature.
