9 month cysto!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I know that we are never really in the clear with this horrible disease, but it sure is nice to know that for 9 months I have been cancer free.

This finding in October was a total shock, as I am only 27 years old.

When I was originally diagnosed, I would look for any positive reinforcement that I could find. I found relief in reading other peoples success stories, so I usually post mine after each cysto.

What great news! I like to read the good news! Now you have three more months to put this in the back of your mind!

Well, I had my 3rd cysto after my original dx in October of 2007. So far so good! No recurrance!

This was the first time that I had the procedure in the urologist's office, and was extremely nervous. Needless to say, things were short and sweet, and when I heard that everything was "all clear", I could breathe again.

I know that things in my life will never be the same, but I think that I have finally come to grips with being a cancer survivor, and I plan to keep it that way!
