10 years 4 months ago - 10 years 4 months ago #19453 by Rosemary
Hey again, Max!!:)

Orpehus, I don't know....Psoriasis, arthritis, yeast, etc are all immune system issues. I have had a chronic yeast infection since my last BCG over a year ago.
I also was having more sinus infections for awhile, but, that seems to be under control for the moment....

Good, good luck on your upcoming cysto. I am rooting for you.

Rosemary,
Your news made me so happy! I have one more BCG (on the 3 week protocol) and then another cysto. I feel good, the arthritis is under control as much as can be, down to 6 Bufferin a day. The worst part of this cancer is the waiting and the awful repetition, makes for lots of sleepless nights. :S
I have had a running battle with yeast infection (surely not related to BCG reaction??) I went after my ear with a swab and now have bad case of swimmers ear, seems like small stuff after two years of bc.

My doctor calls me "ole buddy" very disconcerting.

Great news for you though.:)

Hi Rosemary,
I have been away for awhile....See some things have changed.
However,I am becoming acclimated.
Well..Firstly,I want to congratulate you on your
wonderful news:)I'm so very happy for you.:cheer:
This kind of news serves to encourge others not to
give up hope.
As for me,I had a follow up cysto on 4-16-08.
I was clean...That's 2 in a row...very good feeing.
We gotta keep the "beast" at bay!
As always, I pray that our bladder buds will also
receive good news.
Best regards,
Max

Susant,

That was a cute comment!!!

BTW, not only did the Doctor refer to my Cancer to be of the Prostate, but, he also referred AGAIN (to my confusion) to my Cancer as being a Stage II. Well, there has been a thread concerning this comment of his before, and there is no Stage II Bladder Cancer. What system of staging is he using???
I never heard of it. Our Administrator, Wendy, had never heard of it.

Since I've seen my path reports, I chose not to grill my Doctor on this issue during the appointment.

Sigh. Sometimes, we are between a rock and a hard place. How can we be strong in fighting our disease by so educating ourselves as to our own pathology, and yet avoid stepping on our Doctor's toes with our intelligent questions???

Is it an ego thing with them?????
