Blai,

I did not have BCG until after my 3rd turbt. Didn't even have post-op mitomycin until that 3rd trip. I have been clean since. I agree with everyone else that if the tumor was single, small, papillary, noninvasive then you are probably ok with watchful waiting.

Blai,

I found out that I had the same diagnosis as you in October of 2007. I now have 2 clean cystos under my belt, and would like to keep it that way!

My urologist never considered BCG.

Let us know exactly what the path report shows, and maybe we will have a better understanding of what is going on.

I wish you the best in your journey.

Landon

Hi,

Low grade, non invasive? BCG could be overkill. If your pathology is Ta, grade 1, singel tumor less than 3-4cm, you could be just fine waiting 3 months. And also migght be lucky to have no evidence of residual disease. If not, it is not a life threatening move to wait 3 months.

All the best,
Wendy

good morning. was dxd w/ noninvasive low grade bladder cancer. one dr. said to do bcg. the other wants to watch and wait and do another cystoscopic exam in July. We're going with the watchful waiting. Is that a good idea? Any input would be appreciated as we r new at this and very apprehensive. Thanks
