My urologist also recommends the Theralogix. I haven't seen it mentioned on this forum before until you brought it up. (I've only been here a few months though). I was interested in ordering it but haven't due to the cost. So I guess it's extra carrots and sweet potatoes for me!

I've gotta tell you, I've wondered the same thing ever since I first saw them.

Sara Anne, I have had 5 BCG treatments so far and little side effects. My 6th one is next wednesday. I was DX in Dec with TA low grade but because the tumor was 4 cm the doctor suggested the treatment. I also took Oncovite 2 tablets for the first 30 days, then one a day thereafter.

FINALLY got a call from my uro. After being diagnosed with papillary tcc and then, two weeks later, having CIS added to the mix, I had a CT-urogram on Wednesday. They were supposed to have the results yesterday, but they didn't come through until today. EVERYTHING IS GOOD...NO SIGN OF SPREAD!!!! I was a nervous
wreck by the time he called, since I was sure that the delay was because it was bad news.

He says that I am an ideal candidate for BCG (to start April 2) assuming I tolerate it. I had sent him a letter with about a dozen questions and he took the time to go over each one with me carefully and thoroughly. I had asked what the staging was on both of the cancers that he had found; the pap is TaG2-3...he said that CIS doesn't have a stage(is this correct?).

I also asked him about Dr. Lamm and Oncovite (because of my semi-medical background...I was on the faculty of a medical school as a pharmacologist...I am a real sceptic on supplements.) He said that he has a great deal of respect for Dr. Lamm and was quite familiar with his work. He recommended (ie, "it can't hurt") that I try a product from Theralogix called Bladder 2.1 which is based on Dr. Lamm's work, but has some additional material added due to recent research. Anyone else have knowledge of this? You wouldn't believe (or maybe you would) the number of strange concoctions that friends have urged me to take that will "cure" me!!
