Going for my six month "poke and peek" on Thursday; I was diagnosed TaG1 in Dec '05, and have had no recurrences, either. I almost never think about it in between checks, but during the week before the cystoscopy, that's the time I have bizarre dreams and trouble sleeping.. guess I save it all up for that week! :P.

Hope to get the same results as y'all on Thursday; then I'll go celebrate with dinner with my Valentine (my mother, as I just broke up with the boyfriend, and Mom is actually more fun!). :D

Lauren

TaG1 12/05
3 recurrences

WinnDixie,

Great News and Congrats on the clear check-up. You are an inspiration to us all, and we all hope to have your great reports.

Keep us posted on your progress. We are all in this together, and I personally love to hear and see great things happen to the others in our Bladder Cancer Club!

Keep up the good work!

I was diagnosed with BC October 2007, as with you I had the surgical procedure to remove tumor and it was non-invasive, low grade & noi nvasion. I am going for my 3 month check up at the end of this month & am going crazy. Although my Dr said if it does come back - it will be small & he will just zap it away.
Thanks for being here!!!

I was diagnosed with BC December 2004, had the surgical procedure to remove tumor and it was non-invasive, low grade. Since then I've been cancer-free. I almost forget I have cancer and try to block it out. BUT, the time rolls around for the next test, the old fears surface. That's when I head for the BC Web Cafe for comfort and understanding.
I had my 6-month test today and everything looks great, plus urine test was clear. I'm on a year test schedule and feeling very lucky. Time to put it on the back burner and just enjoy life!!
