Glad it went okay for you with the turb. The pain is probably from the poking around they did, it wll most likely lessen quickly. Let us know what you her from the report. Take care Ginger
Overall, things sound like they went well. Sorry for the lack of sleep and pain you have experienced. Hopefully after your "day of rest" you will be feeling better. Keep up the good work, and let us know what the reports state.
Hi everyone just wanted to let you know how things went today. I had my TURB about 7:30 this morning and was headed home around noon. All went well except that in 3 weeks time another tumor had showed up. He went in and removed them and everything else looked good. Mitomycin was put in during that time also. Dr. said he didn't think I needed to do the weekly treatments yet. He wants to see what the patholgy report shows (3-4 days) and go from there. He talked about doing the BCG treatments next? I will have to read up on that. So all in all in was a good day. I am posting this after midnight so you can see I didn't sleep through the night, lol. I feel asleep around 7:30 last night so... I just took a pain pill so maybe I will be able to go back to bed soon. I have had some stomach pain, nothing horrible and of course some pain where the catheter and other objects were. Guess I will stay home tomorrow and take it easy. Just wanted to update everyone.
