After BCG my psa also increased. We are tracking the trend in psa values versus the BCG. It was highest right after the initial 6 weeks, but has decreased since being on maintenance. I developed nodules (prostitis?) after the initial BCG and had them biopsied just to be sure (due to a positive FISH also) it was not cancer - it wasn't.

BCG Maintenance after 6 week treatment
I had my cystoscopy on January 17th. My doctor pronounced that my bladder was "beautiful". I can't imagine a pretty bladder but I will not argue. Of some concern is that my PSA came back elevated from August '07 at 2.4 to this one at 4.0. The doctor stated that BCG therapy has a profound impact on PSA values. I had a BCG treatment on October 2, 2007. I hope he is right. I would appreciate any comment from you guyz out there.
