A urologist is not going to handle bone mets but will refer you to an oncologist who specializes in this. This is why you need to be at a center that specializes in complicated cases such as those I mentioned earlier. I don’t know the names of any of the oncologists.

Hi Sara and anyone

You are right, there many good general urologists.

As bone metastasis is difficult issue for general urologists. Do you by chance know specific (names) urologic oncologists dealing with bone metastasis in the nation? Or Who has experience treating Stage 4 Bladder cancer with bone mets?

The "West" covers a lot of ground!! But MD Anderson in Houston, USC in LA, and Stanford in Palo Alto are all excellent. I would expect any urologist who sees a lot of bladder cancer at any of these would be a good choice.

You might want to consult with the National Cancer Institute.....Dr. Agarwal specializes in difficult bladder cancer

Bladder cancer metastasis to spine was created by shrinkitty0311
Had chemo 2 years ago. Now on immunotherapy which ha helped somewhat. Now spread to spine and left clavicle. Anyone know of meds for metastasis to spine and bone? Prognosis seems ominous.
