I had a RC in 2010 following 6 BCG treatments. Had 6 months of gem/cisplatin chemo. Had a biopsy last week to determine that is was TCC on my vaginal wall and urethra - which was not removed. It was a bloddy mess but that has stopped now.
I will be glad to offer encouragement...but you still don't know what you are facing. Have you had BCG? Was your original diagnosis low grade or high? Jack is correct, and until you get the results back from the pathology there is a lot unknown. It is so hard when uncertainty is there.
Will keep good thoughts for you! Sara Anne

TCC has the nasty habit of coming back, sorry it has done so to you. You are being treated at one of the top tier placed for bladder cancer - I'm sure that is a comforting thought as you work through this.
It is always a happy occasion when we have a good checkup, and a disappointment when we have a setback. Hang in there and see what the doc has to say after the scan and workup. Waiting for answers is always the hardest part.
