Hi Mike- Yes, in June 2009, they gave him chemo treatments and he did so well. I could hardly believe it. Our daughter got married 4 weeks later he walked her down the aisle with no cane or nothing. Last August he had his neo-bladder and the surgeon said all the lympth nodes were flattened. I was noticing after Christmas he seeemed so tired and all he wants to do is sleep. They did a scan and nothing showed up, now they just did a 2nd scan and then they saw something on the scan near his lympth nodes. He seems to have alot of pain so they gave him persoet and he is extremely constipated. I asked the Dr. if it could be in his colon, panacress or liver. They said no. He hasn't even started chemo till tomorrow morning and he is so constipated that he says after he goes he still feels like he has not completely emptyed out. Sorry to be so graphic. The plan is for chemo and some radiation and the last resort surgery. I can't even go with him tomorrow, I fell on black ice 2 weeks ago and broke a bone in my knee. All of my friends are bringing in meals every nite for us. We are so lucky to have such good friends, but I'm so down tonite. I hope this works for him. When I go on the computer and read about the % of people who live with stage 4 I just fall apart. I don't tell my husband, Norm about what I'm reading, I want to keep his spirits up. Thanks for all of your advice. Alanna
