Robert,

Posts like yours are always hard for me to reply to because I have no words of wisdom. Your situation sucks! So sorry that you didn't find out you had this until it had spread so much.

Hopefully the chemo will keep it a bay for while.

Even though what I'm about to say is pretty much impossible, try not to spend any of the days you have ahead of you angry or sad.
Live every day as much as you can and be sure nobody is left wondering how you feel about about. Live, Love, Laugh as much as possible.

My mom set a goal when she had metastatic breast cancer years ago. They gave her 2 years and she lived more than three years after. She was so happy to prove the doctors wrong and to then have what she called her "extra time". I always felt that was kind of profound.

I wish you the very best in your treatment.

Mike

Robert, I'm so sorry you have received such devastating news and have been through so much turmoil. I wish I could say something profound or could offer some insight but I have not been around this disease long enough to have much of that yet. There are others here who will share their common experiences and expertise with you, and I will keep you close in my thoughts. I so hope you have good response from your treatment.

Best wishes... Catherine

well. all the tests , scans, and the biopsy is done. i have posted on other catagories and i sadly have ended up here.here`s what i have been through, july i went to the clinic and they sent me to a urologist, he had a ct scan done and diagnosid me with a large bladder tumor, had surgury in september, my follow up he told me it was a 3 inch tumor with deep muscle invasion, biopsy came back possible lymph invasion and a high metastic rate., i am a bad risk for a long surgery so i went with the chemo and radiation route. the oncologist had me do a pet scan that came back with a spot in my neck. that biopsy came back cancer. so it`s in my abdoman and my neck the dr said. i am have stage 4 cancer and am starting chemo next monday am . 6 rounds of 21 days. i have had a verry bad year and don`t know what to expect. dr told me survival is anywhere from 2-12 months to 2-3 years. i am trying to keep it together,
