Hey there Jeanette, my mother has also just started on taxol and I do know that it is supposed to be one of the milder chemos, at least that's what they told us, because of her previous cancers (2 previous lymph and ureter and now bladder). Also, I remember in the packet of info they gave us that one of the more severe side effects is numbing and tingling in the hands and legs. My mom has already had one treatment and is experiencing it, could also be her RLS, but I highly dout it since it was very well controlled. If I find out anymore I'll let ya know.

My husband just had some test done to see if th chemo cocktail he was using for his stage 4 metatisised bladder cancer (metastised to his bones) was working,,Cisplatin and Gemzar), unfortunately the test result showed that it wasn't.. They want him to try Taxol (I may be spelling it wrong) I'm just wondering if anyone has any information on Taxol and the results we may expect. I appreciate all your feedback
