Targeting the specific variety of bladder cancer and pinpointing treatment has always made sense to me...i must be alone on this theory. There is also a group out in Long Beach which does just that

Just things to think about.

Dear Alisa,

I can only imagine what you are dealing with at the moment and I am so sorry that you and your husband are in this situation.

My fear of progressing plays heavy on my heart being diagnosed at stage IV and this drew me to
your post. Thankfully I have no known mets and remain under close observation.

I wish I could offer you some information that could help your situation. Having to decide what
is best for your husband with regards to trials must be very heart wrenching.

Best wishes to your husband with his chemo treatment and I send to you both positive thoughts for
the future.

Leigh

Alisa,

I am so sorry to hear of your situation. There are trials going on the have the hope of promise but none that are shining star candidates that I know of at this time. The links for searching for clinical trials is at this link. I am sorry that we can't offer more help but know that we are here to listen and to offer support.

alisa...Sutent has been used in many trials...breast cancer and colon cancer and those trials have been discontinued. But it seems to be a first line for renal cell metastatic cancer
