Lisa, this is really really hard news, and you must be hurting a lot. Your decision to face it squarely is a hard one. You've got so many things to decided, and to contemplate, and to handle.


One of the most helpful books my husband read after his metastasis was "On Death and Dying" by the Dali Lama. He said the first two chapters were of more help than any of this doctors. This is NOT about giving up and giving in, but living to the fullest...that's the message.

And it sounds as if you've already got that message.
