Hi Leigh , just checking in, and yes I have been skiing. The slopes are only a couple of miles up the road so I try to go every morning for an hour. ( I tell my husband I m going to the gym) It is alot more fun! I imagine my troubles peeling off my back as I sail along ! Also the adrenalen rush helps to push my pain into the background. I am so busy scaring myself everything else jumps out of my head ! lol Rocky

Great to hear from you...I am sorry to hear that Sam your hiking buddy has problems with his leg.

Have you managed to get on the slopes and do some skiing?

hi Leigh, It is hard to believe so much time has passed since your surgery, and you are doing well, that is great news to hear.For some reason you have been on my mind more than most thru this, maybe because I have two sons. But once in awhile you would pop up.
It's good to hear how well you are doing, it shows hope to others. I think of you when I hike although I havn't been able to get much hiking in lately. I did go the other day and found the skull of a buck in the woods. My hiking buddy Sam went with me but although the heart is willig the bad leg isn't , at least not long hikes. ( he is my german shepard).
