Just a thought

I review mets posts, but have been very reticent to post or ask questions. I think you have arrived at a good solution and I support you in this. Best of luck to all.

Hi Lisa,

So very glad to get your input on this thread.

I think our issues are as important to us as they are others who genuinely care about us all. The posts in the new section are visible to all, but posting priveledge is limited to those with mets or stage 4 progression. This will eliminate the posts we do not find helpful when we are really just needing response from other mets survivors. Also if someone chooses to view our threads - they know before they read.

I think we still will have a need for emails - we are friends and do have private matters, too. But only the writer and the recipient benefit from the emails which would be suitable to post to help those still in the shadows with their mets. Please feel free to email with me anytime - just know you can get a more broad and acceptable response from more than just I with a threaded post in mets discussion.

Thank you for the friendship and support Lisa, Love and God Bless, Holly

Hi Holly
I am sure from our emails you know I feel just the same.I get torn by the need to express the total black dog feeling I wake up with some mornings screaming inside why me and the feeling that I dont want to upset people or get the replies you speak about.
Its a tricky one as Cythia says if the met board becomes open to members only it will be a loss to those who gain support from seeing others are going throughthe same as they are and feeling the same but at the same time I think a number of us already resort to emails for the more personal stuff. To be honest there are days when even thats too hard.
Take care I hope you find a solution to your doggy problem the adoption idea sounds good.
Lots of Love Lisa x
