Memorial Page

With Susan’s passing something I have given some thought to and had plans to complete has taken a front seat. We need to have a memoriam section. What is planned is a place on our site where anyone can register a loved one that has passed from blc. The names would be entered by year and dates with a link to their website if someone does a memorial one for them. We will give a list of free sites that do small site with templates. Once we start holding Survivors Conferences we will do a candle light reading of the names in memorial yearly. We will do this upgrade as soon as I can get it budgeted and in the queue.

But when someone has been a part of our family such as Susan has I think we would like to do more. One that has walked this journey right beside us is no longer here and we grieve as a community. The question is what do we do as a community? Over the years it seems when it happens in social networking communities someone will be kind enough to take it on themselves to do something and everyone will join. But I would like us to have a plan, one idea is for us to design something framed as a keepsake form the ABLCS community to send to the family. I could write something of it could be a poem or such as long as we have copyright. All I will need is the art or words and the actual design can easily be done.

I think it will be nice that Susans family will be the frist to recieve one.
