Hi Susan,

you goooo girl!!! ;D

I am so glad to hear stories of strength and motivation. It is so important to keep on keeping on when we are fighting this bc or any challenge. I try to remember that in life however, it is challenging at times. Thank you for sharing your post. You will be in my prayers for good news when you start your test on the 19th.

Dear Susan,

That is wonderful news to hear that your spark is back!!

I am really happy for you that your energy is returning and you are able to catch up. I am also very glad to hear you are eating well and taking a nap in the shade :)

I know the results from your next test are very important as to the course of your journey with bladder cancer. You have every right to feel scared and I wish I could take that fear away. All I can say is that I think of you often and wish you the very best of outcomes for your tests next week on the 19th.

In admiration of your strength and courage...

Leigh

Susan,
I would say if this was a competition you are winning hands down. I am amazed at your ability to do things even with the issues at hand. Glad you had a good day, and I hope the 19th will give you good news. Are you with family in Mississippi? And a caregiver to share your days? Ginger

I'm so glad you had a wonderful day! Doesn't it feel good when you can get things accomplished? I think I got very little accomplished today and I'm not sick. Anyway, as for your upcoming tests....of course you're scared because you are human. Good thing is that you are a fighter and I know that whatever the results are, you will continue to fight. Hopes for many more good days and good test results!!!

Hello all -- I feel better today, like I have my own energy and muscles.
I've seized the day and gotten things done (thesis defense for a student;
reccomendation for another; letter of congrats. to my son for a job promotion;
nap in the shade outdoors; forum time; three actual meals because I got hungry.)

My next anticipated medical tests are 6/19 -- I'm scared: Chest x-rays, CT scans ,
blood work to see how much tumor we killed with my two 4-day inpatient chemotherapy
cycles. 6/20 see dr. for a decision day (1) more of same (2) something different
(3) observe and monitor. I'm hoping and praying.

But today is a good day and I'm grateful -- Susan
