hi.. my name is Jeannette. not sure if i am doing this right but here it goes,, my husband age 45 was diagnoised with superficial bladder cancer 3 yrs ago he had the tumor removed and was giving BCG treatments he went back every 3 months for his recommended check up and after the 6th month another tumor was found they removed it and gave him another round of bcg he has been going to all his follow up apts and had been told his bladder was clear, in march he started having back aches in june we went to the doctors and he recommended physical therapy (didn't help) in aug they finally decided to do an MRI followed by a bone scan. to our great sadness the bladder cancer had metastisised to his bones (pelvis area,back,hip and ribs) we then proceeded to an oncologist who pretty much told us he didnt have long to live..we will not give up..we then switched doctors and are now going through treatments,, after reading some of your stories i feel that we are doing the right thing.. i blame the doctors for not doing futher testing and i blame myself for not knowing enough to demand it,, if you have any input it would be much appreciated
