We actually got out of town Friday. We drove up to Phoenix to attend a seminar about Dick's other cancer (MDS). They had two hours of patient discussion. I think it was good for him to be in the presence of other people who have the same issues. It was tiring for both of us as it was 270 miles round trip. The chemo is doing what it is supposed to do so his blood cells are all down. His pain is breaking through the current level of medication but he can't get an increase until his appointment on the 23rd with the pain Doc. We managed to schedule the nerve block but not until June 9.
The last 3 days he has passed clots in this urine. The urologist will be looking at his bladder next Monday when they exchange the stent. CT scan tomorrow results next Tuesday. It is now 6 months since his lung surgery.
So here everything is pending as usual. I think I would really be surprised if we had a Dr. appointment where all the questions are answered.
Hello all. How is everyone? Not much here I guess. Mama got a little sick to her stomach yesterday. She had to leave church early. She said it was something she ate and very well could have been, but you know, the rest of us wonder. She isn't going to tell us if she feels bad because my sister will have her held up in the house. SHe has been going to her brother in laws to help him clean out her sister's (that passed away a few months ago)things. I think she is over doing it, but I want her to do what she wants. I hope everyone is well. Especially wondering about Karen's hubbie's tests.
