Dear Clara,

Glad to hear that you both took a trip to the coast :)

Good luck with the appointment Thursday and with the future treatment plan.

Thinking about you both.

I do not think I posted the results of Bob's MRI on his shoulder and neck.

After this was done, we received a call from the Oncologist saying that the pain in Bob's arm does seem to be coming from C7 vertebra, lesions in there are eating away at the bone. I was not really surprised after reading the results of the PET scan.

We decided to take a break and went to the coast for a week. Have an appointment on Thursday with the Radialogist.....

I am going to ask about the Quadramet. At this point, I guess we become desperate for relief and comfort.

Love and prayers

Dear Clara,

I am very happy to hear that the PET scan showed little change.

Good luck with the MRI wednesday and for a speedy resolve to his pain.

Wishing you both well.

Clara,
It seems that you got pretty good news and I am so glad. My mother is not taking treatments for her stage IV bladder cancer and as of January, has 3 lymph nodes that are positive for mets. According to the onc. it is just a matter of time until the cancer begins to set up shop (my words) somewhere else. I had posted on another thread about further scans at this point. While it is not my decision, I was wondering about the usefulness of further scans. Since she has opted out of treatment, it just seems that maybe ignorance is bliss. Maybe I am just the one who wants to be ignorant. :) I might feel differently if it were my body. I would love to hear your opinion on htis. Thanks and God bless. I pray that you and your husband have many more quality days ahead.
