HUH...THE NEW MODEL!! :P Is this like buying a car? You should have waited for Sept for the new models to come out.......? Well you should definately get a discount!
That one doesn't sound like the one my hubby got...there was only internal little itty bitty modules that you had to manipulate...it was wierd. I even went in for a lesson and failed miserably and i'm the one who is usually pretty dextrous. I couldn't figure it out...little uro could speak very little english....not a good combo. Anyway that was approximately 20 yrs ago so i'm sure the Models are much better now. And you had a great doctor...........Pat

Hello Patricia,

There is bulb that you squeeze several times to inflate, and yes, you squeeze the sides of the base of the pump to deflate it.

It's definitely not the most user-friendly design. There is no user-feedback--like a click or something--when you squeeze to deflate it.

When I pointed this out to my doctor, he said the very words I didn't want to hear: "Well, on the new model they have that feature."

The new model? :'(

Zach

Dear Million Dollar Man......Zachary do you have the model that you have to pump the sides of the devise to get it to work..the implants on either side?(all internal?).....My husband got that one and he had a horrible time with it...he wasn't very manually dextrous....like if you gave him a screwdriver he wouldn't have had the slightest idea what to do with it!... I remember nothing about the different models. Anyway it never worked quite right..he either couldn't get it fully pumped up or he couldn't get it down.....talk about a 55 yr old man in umpire gear with that ..!!! Anyway not to be discouraging...just make sure you guys out there are pretty ambidextrous when you look at the different models ::) Sorry i snuck into your territory...Pat

We are glad to hear you are making progress! We're thinking you really have to be committed to the process to go through it all. Our decision will come in July. We are hoping for a successful trial that goes smoothly. Good luck.

Oh, and the I(no)PP brochure makes a big point that there is not enough stainless steel in the product to set off airport alarms.
