Sorry to be so late to this post.. My daughter is getting married today and the past few days have been hectic.
I too have a Neo bladder and I have had periods of poor or no flow. Followed by easy flow. I am aware the I tend to forget to hydrate during the day and things slow down. There are times when I feel the urge and cannot get things going. Sometimes only the heavy sludge comes out.
Are you totally unable to get anything going? Or do you need to push very hard at times?
Have you tried changing the things you drink? I found that some drinks seem to stop me up.
Cranberry juice is my friend. Can you make it yours?
I am sorry that I have no advice on catheters. I can usually flush out the heavy sludge that always starts each attempt.
