I feel that as long as I'm able I will scream from a mountain top to get the word out about BC. Perhaps if we knew more before Jim's diagnosis we may not have dismissed his frequency as readily as an age, guy thing! Who knew? Not us!

I'm so happy to report that for the second year in a row Florida has recognized July 2013 Bladder Cancer Awareness month statewide. It takes some work but it can be done. I just returned yesterday from spending a week in Tallahassee promoting BC awareness throughout our state Capitol. Handed out info and our great tri-color lapel pins. The reception was great and people are surprised at the statistics. This is done for my Jim, our Mike, Cynthia and all the others who are dealing with BC daily. I tip my hat, with its tri-color ribbon embroidered on it, to you all!! Stay strong!
