Got my neo on April 25th, ended up with almost identical results. Prostrate and bladder were fully involved, lymph nodes clear. Waiting for chemo consult......

HI,
I am 7 months out from my RC for T1G3/CIS and ALI (I also had 3 cycles of MVAC). I am 36, and so was very surprised to find that I too had early prostate cancer. I can't remember the figures exactly, but when we asked the oncologist, she told us that on studies of young men who died from unrelated causes there was actually a very high incidence of this early small prostate cancer (30 ish percent?!), and that we were not to worry. It is also interesting that historically there was a large number of men who died with, not from, their asymptomatic prostate cancer, but of course now everybody gets their PSA checked, nobody is asymptomatic - they have mental symptoms, even if not physical ones. Me, I am glad I won't be going through all that!! Prophylactic prostatectomy is clearly the way ahead for all!!

Add another one to the list. When my husband had his RC in October they found prostate cancer as well. The surgeon said he got a two for one surgery.

Im actually beginning to think this a little disturbing! I wonder how many other folk are wandering around with prostate issues they aren't aware of! Still, its good we found it ourselves!
