In regard to your remark about being too old to learn how to control your speech....You are NOT too old to change. I have had that same problem for years...my thoughts would just jump right out there, and most especially with family and it does lead to regrets. I am 56 and over the last six months, I have learn to think more about my words before tossing them out at other people. Most often it is when I am very frustrated and I lose my patience and out come the words. But after having to do battle with cancer, it has somehow helped me to
slow down and be more aware of how my words might affect others, and even myself. I will pray that Bob will soon be well enough to be released from the hospital and that things will improve for all of you in every way. Take care, Melodie
