Bladder Cancer & Prostrate Cancer

You know I was always thinking about these two cancers and you see this different times on this board. A person goes and has his RC for his bladder and gets the Path report and they find he also had prostrate cancer. Now I'm not a Dr but I believe this the cancer has to start at one place otherwise if they are two seperate cancers wouldn't they have to start at the same time. Like colon cancer my MIL had it and it spread to her liver and they say this happens to about half of the patients with colon cancer

What I'm trying to say is you have bladder cancer and it spreads to the lungs and you don't survive you passed away from bladder cancer and not lung cancer we all know this. So I just think if you were being treated for bladder cancer and it was invasive and you had to get the RC done would not the same principle apply after you got the Path report back and it showed prostrate cancer also that this cancer spread from the bladder to the prostrate. Not that it is impossible but I just don't see two cancers developing at one time. Just my opinion and something to kick around and think about. Joe ;)
