Forget the crystals..now its a staple!!

Yep very visable...half of it sticking out of the stoma. I've heard of this happening before but they usually come up thru the catheter. No wonder she's had so much leaking...her "Rosebud" is trying to dispel all foreign objects!!! They get a little staple happy when they're in there i guess!!! Pat

Yes Pat poor Melodie I mean I had them stiches that disolve around my stoma and a couple the wound nurse had to get out but a staple how the heck did that get down there and is it visible? Joe ???

Poor Melodie...she called me tonight to inform me that a staple was sticking out of her stoma...she wanted to know what to do about it. I'd probably pull it out but i told her to call the uro on call. WHAT NEXT? Pat
