Lotech,
Pulling for you having a clean report on the lymph nodes. Whether welcome or not, there is always a next test just down the road - it does seem that anticipating the test is worse than the actual results, whatever they may be. Bad tests require a follow-up test, which, in my experience, has a good chance of finding the bad test to be wrong.
Cancer is quite the county fair thrill ride. The ups and down hit us in the pit of our stomachs, but somehow we seem to always be ready for a re-ride.
Merry Christmas to you and the family. Make it work for those who are worrying and pulling for you.
The big Christmas issue here is how to hug the rug rats and still deal with the depressed immune system from the chemo. So far, the plan is to offer sneeze masks as the family arrives. One way or another, the grands are going to have a good time visiting Grandma & Gramps, as always. The two older boys (7 & 8) are expecting to go down to the target range by the creek this year and finally be allowed shoot the .22 rifles. It will happen, no matter what. We are a No Grinch household.
Life goes on. Enjoy it.
Best,
Jack
