Thank you Cynthia, I will keep everyone updated on what the doctor finds from my CT scan. I am hoping it is nothing too. I am scheduled to see my Oncology Urologist tomorrow for a follow up visit, however I am going to discuss with him what my Oncologist has found and additional things that have been going on lately. Several weeks ago I woke up early in the morning with severe abdominal pain, it was so painful that I almost had to call 911. I decided to take several pain pills instead and it subsided for awhile, it did finally go away after several hours. I was scheduled to see my Oncologist the next day and so I informed him of what I experienced. He said that it could just be scarring from the RC I had or it could be a tumor in my abdomen. This past weekend it happened again, only I was away at the time, visiting a friend. I ended up having to stay in bed all day at my friends house because of this. Again, I had to take a strong pain pill and wait it out. Like I said though, I am scheduled to see my Oncology Urologist this time and will discuss this with him as well.

Susan good luck on your up coming scans. Similar DX to yours have had a few rescans over the years. They are a bear, you can only wait and worry. Everyone tells us not to worry but we have no choice at two am. Going through chemo one room mate called waiting for results as being in another level of hell. Time helps you learn to deal with it but for me it was tough the first few years after RC.
Hope this is a false alarm, but let us know we are here for the good news as well as the unwelcome variety.

Hi, I just saw your post, have not been on here in some time. I hope your husband is getting the chemo and doing well on it. Recently my Oncologist has discovered that I might have a lump on my right lung, he found a dark area in July on my CT scan and has ordered another scan for November 11 to see if it is still there. I then see him on November 15 to receive the results. I had a RC in January of this year due to being diagnosed with aggressive T2 high grade invasive bladder cancer the year before.

Lollipop,
Hope your husband's chemo is going well. Just saw your post. Your husband's oncologist should be able to tell you what to expect.
Best wishes,
Anita

My husband has not had chemo treatments yet but will start in a few days. What should we be expecting?
