He should discuss this with his urologist when he is adequately recovered. If his erections don't return, he can have a device implanted to give him erections. He can also give himself injections to create an erection. Both methods require his doctor's input. Don't waste any time or money on other devices or methods you may find on the Internet.

Check with a specialist on Erectile Dysfunction. There may be ways to restore some of his sexual function if a nerve-sparing cystoprostatectomy was done. Typically, the urologic oncologist (surgeon_ would be a good starting point for the discussion.

Sorry for the Late Reply
I know that when they remove the bladder, they also remove the prostate. The prostate gland produces the fluid of ejaculation.
So there will be no more fluid from now on.
This is where I am now. All of the sensation of climax, but not fluid.

This is the question of the day. Did your husband have "nerve Sparing" surgery. This is a longer procedure of surgery. It spares the nerve so "eventually" your husband can get an erection again. It took me a year before I could return to somewhat normal.
Even with nerve sparing surgery, it takes a long time to recover. I tried using pills, and it still took a long time to get things going again.

If he had nerve sparing(ask the Dr.) then things will return. But patience is the key.

Guess they didn't sever his brain. But the body has lost contact with the parts necessary to perform what the brain is thinking. If things don't connect from physical reasons, it's not dysfunctional.

We are also wondering how a partial cystectomy and bypass of ureter is going to affect us. But it is hers that has to go....

This is Frankiez's wife. When he had his bladder removed they severed tubes so that he can not have an erection. However his mind still tells him that he wants to make love. What do I do about this. Not being a man, I just dont understand.
