Hello and welcome to the forum... Your husband is fortunate to have such a caring advocate on his team. I can understand why his recent symptoms are of concern to you since those can be common with some pretty serious health issues as you have read. We can't offer any medical advice, but our comments and suggestions come from the school of "been there, done that" in most cases.
When was the last time he was examined by this urologist/surgeon? Was it before or after these latest behaviors that you are noticing? And, if his uro hasn't found any reason that might contribute to the things he is experiencing now, a trip to his primary doctor or an internist/specialist may be in order. While he may not "think" it is anything more serious, only a thorough exam can rule that out.
I do hope he will listen to his "coach" and go in soon to get things checked out. It is generally not normal to feel that way and if it were to be something serious, quick diagnosis and treatment is critical to getting the best possible outcome.
Please let us know of his progress and I hope he feels better very soon.
