Mike,

I cant express how scared I am for you and your family. You are, and always will be a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON to us. You have been the voice of reason when we start to get out of line with our fears.

We need, and want you with us for as long as God will allow it.

I for one would like to thank you for always braking down the medical jargon and explaining it in lay-mans terms, so the rest of us can understand what is going on. Your hard work is much appreciated.

You do what ever it takes, for as long as it takes you.

Your friend always;

Mike, I will keep fingers,toes and eyes crossed until we hear something official from all the tests and results.
Hopefully when they get to the bottom of this, it won't be a reoccurrence.
No matter what, all your friends here are ready to be here for you.

I have had blood in my urine since my Radical Cystectomy and it is very scary. Once I learn t that I and aspirin products no longer mix it has gotten better. Having to cath I have found that the cathing in its self can cause bleeding, if you scrap the wall. I have also had enlarged lymph nodes. Every time it has been a tempest in a tea pot so to speak. Cytology and I have a long history of false positives and false negative and on and on. The reason I am telling you all this is because sometimes even when it looks bad it is a tempest in a tea pot and that is what I am wishing for you. I have always said the caner would never get me it would be a heart attack from all the scares brought on by test results.

Know I have my fingers crossed for you and will be thinking of you. We are here and you can be cranky or not yourself of anything you need to be we are just happy to have you.

Keep us updated!

Glad you're heading home. Any difficulty is made better by being with the people who love us the most... and vice versa.

Happy Birthday to Liz...

Best wishes... Catherine

Thanks Catherine and Sara Anne. I decided to go home today after all. Tomorrow is Liz's birthday so I'll be home for that!

Took a taxi over to Hartford Hospital to do another urine culture and I'll be heading out to the airport shortly. Just would rather be home.

I will keep everyone in the loop.

It's pretty cool you can just go to a lab anywhere in the country while you travel and get tests done and faxed to your home doctors. :)
