Tim I was thinking what Rosemay has posted ( she could be right ) but I asked Dr. Vaughns nurse about this and it is not chemo related or anything to do with BC. She is an MSN CRNP kind of a step shorter then Dr and can write scripts and I still have a little of that rash from the Gemzar so in my case and asking about you she suggested we both make dermolotologists appt's so there you have it my friend. I wouldn't call this a guess, but just throwing out an idea. I had what I thought was "prickly heat" under my right breast, that was pretty uncomfortable when I was hot and perspiring a little (I never perspire a lot). It turned out to be a fungal infection. However, I think if yours was fungal that you would pretty much keep a rash of some sort.
I found a definition for prickly heat. Just throwing it out there....not a diagnosis...
a cutaneous eruption accompanied by a prickling and itching sensation, due to an inflammation of the sweat glands. Also called heat rash.
