Well, Mike, you give such good advice to others, it is kind of fun to see you on the "hot seat" for a change!!

Seriously, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

So I FINALLY got my CT scan and urine cytology.

Geez what a mess. My cytology order was not received by the place I go to get the tests done. So back and forth with phone calls to finally get those orders.

Next year I am going to ask them to fax a copy of the orders to me in addition to the hospital so I know they are there and have a copy with me.

I made sure my cytology paperwork showed that I have a neobladder because they get all freaked out back there in the lab when they see my urine and start running around screaming stuff about Martians invading and abnormal cells in the urine and such.

Signed everything I needed so I can get the results faxed to me tomorrow. I did get my CD of the CT scan. Sure wish I could read that thing. I can see my neo, my kidneys, my liver, and bones and what not but I sure can't figure if it says good things or bad.

I'm figuring on good things and I'm sticking with that plan unless told otherwise. Actually, even if my cytology comes back messed up, I wouldn't believe it until my doc confirms it. They freaked me out with that a couple of years ago because they didn't realize I had abnormal cells in my urine due to a neobladder.

I will post back tomorrow. I sure wish we had instant access to our own electronic records. That's coming in not so distant future. Univ of Colorado hospital already has it (for a few years) and it is really nice to be able to login and look stuff up on your tests.

Oh well...I'm rambling. Guess I am a litttttttttttllllle nervous about the results. Maybe just "anxious".
